KIDS TO KIDS YOGA INITIATIVE

With a mission to help build mentally and physically stronger and more compassionate kids, THE PINK ELEPHANT SPACE is collaborating with YOGI EVER AFTER to run a kids yoga program which includes WORKSHOPS/ EVENTS and weekly YOGA CLASSES 

As part of teaching children to give back (karma yoga) we will be donating 25% of the registration fees for these Kids Programs to The Badwa Center for Special Education 🙏 Spaces are limited so if interested please book your childs' spot now

ABOUT THE BADWA CENTER FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

​

" The Mental Health Society for Special Education was established in 1970, registered under the Ministry of Social Affairs. It is the first national society in Jordan specialized in training, educating and habilitating those of special needs (ranging from simple to moderate mental disabilities).

The Badwa Center for Special Education is a branch of the society, located in Al Weibdeh and schools 60 disadvantaged children. The main aim of the center is to educate and provide vocational training, in turn assisting the students to professionally and socially adapt and integrate into society. The center also provides the students' families with guidance and counseling.

Education is the most powerful tool these children can obtain and with this project we hope to raise funds towards their tuition. $100,000 covers the full running costs for the center for a full year. This would give us valuable time to work on restructuring the school programs, recreate and redesign their handicrafts and introduce new items that would help strengthen the center's chances of becoming self sufficient. So much time is spent on fundraising and making ends meet that a year with no financial burden would give the staff and supporters focused and dedicated time and effort in creating a sustainable entity.
